What is a PRO? PRO stands for Player Referee Organization. It is the standard name given to AYSO Referee programs geared towards those 18 years old and under. Anyone 12 years old or older is welcome to become a youth referee - soccer player or not - however 95% of AYSO youth referees are also active soccer players. The AYSO Youth Referee Program was developed to offer assistance to our youths, not only to work on their skills but also to offer methods to improve confidence and ways to deal with difficult adults & situations. Interested in becoming part of the Region 31 PROs as a youth referee or adult mentor? Contact the PRO Coordinator to learn how.
